Guide for a SAFE and WORRY-FREE vacation

Departure & Training Videos

All renters are required to do some training before they can take their rental out on vacation. We want to ensure you and your family are safe on your travelling adventures! Listed below are all the necessary tools to guarantee you get the training you need to have a SAFE and WORRY FREE vacation. Please follow the steps provided.

“Express Departure” – Easy 3-Step Departure

  • Completely initial, sign and return rental contract and insurance confirmation (binder or purchased online).
  • You must watch these short videos online within 7 days of departure (don’t watch it before then… you might forget what you saw!).

On the day of departure:

  • You must answer a short safety questionnaire.
  • You must physically walk through the RV you are renting to see where everything is.
  • You must complete a check-out checklist sheet.
  • You must take your own pictures of the interior and exterior for overall condition and pre-existing damage (if any).

“Vacation Departure” – In Person Departure

  • You must watch these short videos online within 7 days of departure (don’t watch it before then… you might forget what you saw!).
  • You must arrive at our offices located in Moraine, OH 7 days before your listed date of departure. Please call 513-617-1074 to schedule an appointment.
  • If you are pulling a trailer (or towing with an RV), we must inspect your tow vehicle (or any trailer), connections, and brake controller.
  • No “Travel Trailer” Departures can be performed on the day of departure due to scheduling limitations. We are sorry.

Pet Addendum

The staff and management of “RV Life is Good” understands that your pet is a very important member of the family, and therefore may want to include them on the family trip. That is why we believe in the “invisible pet.” However, there are some rules and regulations you must agree to first:

Pet Charges

  • An additional $95 per pet or $150 for 2 pets fee is required prior to departure.
  • A pet needs to be approved at least 10 days prior to your departure.  Please let us know what kind and size your pet is?

What Is An “Invisible Pet?”

Basically, this means that when the motor home/trailer is returned, we do not see or smell any signs there was an animal in the unit at all.

This includes but not limited to:
  • Pet hair
  • Carpet and/or fabric stains
  • Carpet and/or fabric tears
  • Damage of window coverings
  • Panel or wood trim damage
  • Pet food
  • The smell or odor associated with an animal

Restrictions

You must advise us that you plan to bring a pet, in writing, before your departure. One small domesticated animal, 50lbs or less, or service animal is allowed in the RV/Travel Trailer.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PET UNATTENDED IN THE RV/TRAVEL TRAILER.

If you decide to leave the RV/Trailer with the pet inside by themselves, it must be kept in a cage. Your pet may not “roam freely” in the RV while you are away.We ask that you please not allow your pet on ANY of the furniture in the unit. This includes seats, sofas, dinette area, overhead bunks, or beds.

If Evidence Of A Pet Is Found

Excessive cleaning charges and fumigation will be billed at a flat rate of $500.Any permanent damage will result in paying the cost of parts and labor to fix what was broken.
*If evidence of a pet is found and it was NOT disclosed at the time of reservation, you will be subject to a $50 per night fee for the entire period of your rental.*
